FAQ

For each project, we assign a dedicated manager to coordinate communication and manage expectations between our team and yours.

Communication management is a key aspect of our project management. Our managers create a detailed communication plan tailored to your working style, outlining the meeting schedule, participants, agendas, and communication channels.

We primarily use Slack for daily team collaboration and Google Meet for video calls, but we’re flexible and can use any communication platforms your company prefers. For urgent issues, we’re always ready to jump on ad-hoc video calls to quickly discuss and resolve them.

Our key goal is to prevent issues from arising in the first place. At the outset, we develop a project plan that allows us to identify potential risks and devise strategies for managing them. In case of bottlenecks, we have pre-prepared disaster recovery plans for each project. If the issue is on our end, we handle it; if it requires collaboration with your team, we work together to find and fix the root cause.

We prioritize taking the burden off your shoulders. Consider us an extension of your team. When we engage in a project, we take full responsibility for the infrastructure, cloud operations, monitoring, and other processes, allowing your team to focus on your core business priorities.

Our dedicated team is entirely focused on your project. They gather technical requirements and engage in ongoing communication with you to grasp your expectations and success criteria.

Using this insight, your assigned manager crafts a project management plan following industry best practices. We then review this plan together, making adjustments as needed to ensure it aligns perfectly with your vision. Once we agree on the timeline, our team initiates work to deliver the solution within the agreed-upon schedule.

Our preferred project management approach is Kanban, harmonizing seamlessly with our DevOps methodologies. However, we remain adaptable and can employ other methodologies like Scrum for projects with unclear scopes or Waterfall for fixed-price projects with well-defined requirements and timelines. Our project managers choose the most appropriate approach based on project characteristics during the initial planning stage.

Depending on the project requirements & scope, we offer 3 major collaboration models:

  1. Hourly-Based Outstaffing: We provide experienced specialists tailored to your requirements, offering different hourly rates based on expertise, experience, and certifications. This model allows you to scale resources as needed while retaining direct control over project management.

  2. Project-Based Approach: We offer a dedicated team to work exclusively on your project from start to finish. Depending on the project scope and requirements, the team typically includes a project manager, account manager, DevOps engineers, team lead, and head of DevOps. They focus entirely on understanding your project’s challenges and delivering the required solution. Our project managers oversee staffing needs as the project progresses and gather satisfaction metrics. Billing is hourly-based (T&M) for both options.

  3. Retainer Model: Primarily for support services, this option involves booking a set number of DevOps hours on a monthly basis, with a fixed monthly payment.

We believe in adaptability as a core principle of our approach. Recognizing that DevOps goes beyond technical processes to support your primary business objectives, we prioritize collaboration to accommodate adjustments. In the face of changes, we work closely with your team to replan and realign our efforts. Rest assured, Infralegion remains committed to delivering maximum value for your business, regardless of circumstances.

Certainly. We offer ongoing support and maintenance following the delivery of the core solution. Because we’ve already optimized your systems, our continued support is more cost-effective. Plus, there’s no need for additional time to familiarize ourselves with your setup — we can seamlessly continue operations.

We’re open to discussing various support options to suit your needs and budget. Whether you prefer a comprehensive support package or ad-hoc consultations for emerging needs, we can customize an approach that best fits your requirements.
